musée Eugène-Camoreyt de Lectoure
The Eugène-Camoreyt Museum is the historical museum of Lectoure in the Gers department. Hosted in the city hall, it is essentially a lapidary and archaeological museum that includes prehistoric vestiges, Gallic, Gallo-Roman and in particular the largest collection of taurobolic altars in the world. It now depends on the network of Departmental Heritage Conservation, whose headquarters are at the Abbey of Flaran.
