The Kwok On Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions of Asia is a former Parisian museum, created in 1972 in Paris by Sinologists Jacques and Sylvie Pimpaneau (d), dedicated to the popular arts and traditions of Asia. It includes collections of instruments of music, porcelain, puppets and dolls of popular Asian art made up by the Hong Kong collector Kwok On (d) ( The museum moved several times until 1994 when, for lack of premises, it closed permanently. His last location was rue du Théâtre in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Since then the collections have been transmitted to the Museum of the East in Lisbon. Sylvie Pimpaneau (d) is the curator. It enriches the collections and organizes exhibitions at the Musée Guimet or the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques-Chirac in Paris.
