The Tesse Museum is the art museum of the city of Le Mans in France. It offers many guided tours on various themes and is located on the margins of the natural setting of the Jacobin quinconces and Tesse Park. The building is a former episcopal palace built on the site of the former mansion of the Marshal of Tesse.
In addition to an important Egyptian collection, it contains a reconstruction of the homes of eternity of Nefertari, wife of Ramses II, and of Sennefer, mayor of Thebes, in its specially arranged basement. Until 2009, the museum presented the city's archaeological collections before they took place in the Museum of Archaeology and History of Le Mans.
