The Battle Museum of 6 August 1870 is located in the French commune of Woerth, in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin and, since 1 January 2021, in the territory of the European Community of Alsace, in the Grand East region. This municipality is located in the historical and cultural region of Alsace. The museum is housed in the enclosure of a Renaissance-style castle of which there remains a crenellated dungeon, inscribed on the additional inventory of historical monuments whose true origin dates from the thirteenth century.
