Musée de la batellerie de Poses

The Musée de la Batellerie is an ethnographic museum located in Poses (Eure), on the banks of the old haulage road along the Seine. He is led by an association of former sailors, Les Anciens et Amis de la Batellerie. They present in the house-museum material illustrating the history of the ship-building and the haulage, models of locks and dams, a steam machine and old motors, such as the original engine of the tug the Jacques exhibited at the Museum of the Batellerie of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine; in the tug, which is still sailing, the houses (captain, mechanic), the wheelhouse and the engine room are visited.
