Biotropica

The Biotropica animal gardens are a French zoological park in the administrative region of Normandy located in the department of Eure, in the leisure base of Léry-Poses, near the city of Val-de-Reuil. It comprises a huge tropical greenhouse of 5,000 m2, as well as an outdoor park, for a total area of 10 hectares. The park hosts approximately 200,000 visitors per year[source insufficient]. In 2017, Biotropica became a temporary member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums. In 2018, he became a permanent member.

History: Created by the owners of the Cerza Zoo, the Biotropica Zoo was opened on 7 September 2012. It changed its name in 2015 to "The Biotropica Animal Gardens" and in the following years it welcomed more and more new species. They thus develop new spaces.
