musée des Beaux-Arts de Mulhouse
The Museum of Fine Arts in Mulhouse is a French art museum located in Mulhouse, Upper Rhine, in an 18th-century mansion, also known as the "Steinbach villa". Today owned by the city, it was founded in 1864 on the initiative of Frédéric Engel-Dollfus and the Mulhouse Industrial Society (SIM). Its collections – mainly made up of European paintings from the late Middle Ages to the contemporary era – make a great contribution to the 19th century and to regional artists, a room dedicated to the painter Jean-Jacques Henner, the country's child.
