musée judéo-alsacien
The Judeo-Alsacian Museum is located in the French commune of Bouxwiller, located in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin and, since 1 January 2021, in the territory of the European Community of Alsace, in the Greater East region where a Jewish community has long flourished. Located in the old synagogue of the village, the museum traces Judeo-Alsatian culture. It is managed by the Association of Friends of the Judeo-Alsacian Museum of Bouxwiller (AMJAB). The synagogue-museum is inscribed on the additional inventory of historical monuments by order of 3 April 1984 (Façades and roofs as well as the courtyard with its fence wall).
