Oratoire de Saint-Céneré

The Oratory of Saint Céneré is located at the edge of the Erve, one kilometre from the village of Saulges. For 13 centuries, the inhabitants of Maine and Anjou have come to Saulges around 15 August to celebrate their protector. A spring has been flowing since the seventh century in this oratory built on the cave of its former hermitage.
