ouvrage de Cap-Martin
The Cap-Martin building, also known as the Cap-Martin building, is part of the Alpine Maginot line, located in the commune of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, in the Alpes-Maritimes department. This is the last work at the southern end of the line, with the Mediterranean Sea below. The fortified site of Cape Martin protected the rest of French territory from an Italian invasion through the coastal road and the city of Menton, crossing its fire with those of the work of Roquebrune. During the fighting in June 1940, the book fired on Menton, prohibiting the passage to Italian troops, but was himself heavily bombed.
