Ouvrage Sainte-Agnès

Sainte-Agnès is a fortification part of the Maginot line, located in the commune of Sainte-Agnès in the Alpes-Maritimes department. Made up of six blocks perched on a top above Menton, this work was to prohibit the passage through the Mediterranean coast by the fire of its artillery. During the fighting in June 1940 against the Italian army, his crew fired for a few days.
