esplanade Geneviève-Anthonioz-de-Gaulle
The Geneviève-Anthonioz-de-Gaulle esplanade, or Centre Park, is an urban park located in Villeurbanne, France. As the northern extension of the perspective of the Gratte-Ciel district, it was built the site of a former dye factory founded in 1924 and demolished in the early 2000s. The factory chimney was preserved to become an architectural work entitled "View of the Chimney", by Felice Varini. It recalls the industrial past of the city. Since the inauguration of the northern section on 14 February 2026, the park is bordered by line 6 of the tram, and the stop "Geneviève de Gaulle" allows the service of the district.
