Pierre aux neuf gradins

The stone with nine steps is located in the commune of Soubrebost, near Pontarion, in the department of Creuse, France. A sign indicates the site and its coupula stones as an "archeological puzzle" but it is not protected either as sites and landscapes or as historical monuments. In Limousin occitan, this place is called "La peira daus nòu esballets" (pronounced locally lo peiro doou naôu eibolei), which means "the stone with nine steps".
