The aqueduct-siphon de la Joncasse located in France on the commune of Deyme in the Haute-Garonne region of Occitanie, is one of the many aqueducts of the Canal du Midi.

Description: The aqueduct-siphon de la Joncasse allows the passage under the Canal du Midi of the small streams of the Rosiers and the Joncasse of the tributaries of the Hers-Mort. This siphon aqueduct was built in 1734-1735 by the province on the plans of engineer Jean de Clapiès. The work is remarkable for the quality of its design and execution, in which one of the first uses of hydraulic lime is found.
