About

The Fresquel Canal Bridge is an arc canal bridge located near Carcassonne in the department of Aude. Before its construction, the canal crossed the Fresquel, a tributary of the Aude. Its construction took place between 1802 and 1810 when the Canal du Midi was diverted from its original trajectory to the city centre of Carcassonne.
