Cordon Bridge is a road bridge crossing the Rhône River connecting the municipalities of Brégnier-Cordon (Ain) and Aosta (Isère). It bears the name of a first suspended bridge destroyed during the Second World War The Brégnier-Cordon bridge falls within the competence of the Ain Departmental Council, which provides maintenance and management on the French side. This structure, linking the commune of Brégnier-Cordon (Ain) to Cordon (Savoie) above the Rhône, is a strategic point of the departmental road network. It is part of the Department ' s policy to maintain the continuity of inter-departmental links and to ensure the safety of users on infrastructure crossing the river.
