Bridge
pont de l'Iroise
The Iroise bridge spans the Elorn between Le Relecq-Kerhuon and Plougastel-Daoulas on the RN165 which connects Brest to Quimper in the Finistère. Among the hauban bridges, it has the third largest main reach of France, behind the Normandy bridge and the Saint-Nazaire bridge and before the Viaduc de Millau. As a result of accidents, caused by excessive speed on the new bridge and the number of people using it to work in Brest, a radar was placed on the structure in the direction of Brest, the speed being limited to 90 km/h.
