pont du Las
The Pont du Las is a popular and lively area in the west of Toulon, very commercial especially along the avenue du XVe-Corps. Place Martin-Bidouré is the second largest market in the city after the Lafayette course. This square also serves as a square for the parish of Saint Joseph, a church of the late 19th century, with large organs, as well as numerous chapels adorned with statues, and whose southern facade is partly covered with gilding featuring Christ the King. The inhabitants of the Pont du Las are called the Lassipontains.
