The suspension bridge of Tonnay-Charente is an art work that spans the Charente between Tonnay-Charente and Saint-Hippolyte, near the town of Rochefort, Charente-Maritime. Located a little upstream of the river port, it was built in 1842, making it one of the oldest suspended bridges in Europe.
