Refuge de la Valmasque

The Valmasque refuge is a mountain refuge in the Alpes-Maritimes in the commune of Tende, in the Mercantour-Argentera mountains. The refuge is located within the central area of Mercantour National Park. It overlooks Lake Vert, a dam lake operated by EDF to supply the Mesches hydroelectric plant below.
