Stade Richter

The Richter Stadium is a former football stadium and then a theatre in Montpellier, France. Inaugurated in 1968, he replaced the old Parc des Sports on Pont Juvénal Avenue and had as his club the Montpellieran Olympic Stadium and his successor, the Montpellier Littoral Sport Club. His name comes from the former owners of the land, the Richter, who operated a nursery. It was destroyed in 1990 and gave way to a new neighbourhood comprising part of Montpellier-I University.
