About

The Temple of the Collet-de-Dèze is a Protestant religious building located in the commune of the Collet-de-Dèze in the French department of Lozère. It is one of the oldest temples in France and it is one of the very few temples that survived the destruction at the time of the Revocation of the Edit of Nantes and which has since resumed its functions. Only three other temples — one in Vialas, still in Lozère, the other in Poët-Laval in Drôme and the one in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines in Haut-Rhin (dated to him from 1634) — were not destroyed, kept their destination. The parish is now a member of the United Protestant Church of France.
