Bismarck tower
tour Bismarck de Metz
The Bismarck Tower of Metz is a memorial erected in 1902 on Mount Saint-Quentin, a dominant Mount Metz and the Moselle Valley in Lorraine. Located in the commune of Ban-Saint-Martin, it is one of many Bismarck towers built in the German Reich and its colonies, between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in memory of Imperial Chancellor Otto von Bismarck (1815-1898). The tower of Metz is similar to that of Stuttgart, built two years later, also taking on the model Trépuscule of the gods.
