About

The viaduct of Eauplet is a railway viaduct allowing the railway line from Paris to Le Havre to cross upstream of Rouen the two arms of the Seine and the south-east tip of the island Lacroix, between Sotteville-lès-Rouen, a commune on the left bank, and Eauplet, a district of the municipality of Bonsecours on the right bank, bordering Rouen. Given the context of its construction, it has long been called "bridge to the English", and is still commonly referred to as this today.
