The Viaduct de la Savouruse is the longest work of art covered by the LGV Rhine-Rhône, with 792 m long, for a maximum height of 32 m. It crosses the A36 motorway, the 437 national road, the Haute-Saône canal and the Savoury.

Architecture: Placing loads on 11 tetrapod batteries, the viaduct is designed to allow the passage of two trains in opposite directions at a respective speed of 350 km/h. The cost of the viaduct is EUR 52 million. The architecture was designed by a French architect — Sébastien Ricard — working for the London-based Wilkinson Eyre.

History: The project started in June 2005, with the aim of being operational for 2011.
