The Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativity church of Saverne is a parish church, formerly a collegiate church located in Saverne in the Bas-Rhin department in France. It has been classified as historical monuments since 1977. Originally consecrated parish church under the name of Saint Barthélemy and Saint Ulrich, it was raised in 1485 to the rank of collegiate consecrated to the Nativity of the Virgin, a status that it lost to the French Revolution, like all other collegiates.
On the architectural level, it is a complex building juxtaposing elements from various construction campaigns: an initial phase of construction in Romanesque style, about the middle of the 12th century, of which essentially remains the bell tower-porch, a first gothic countryside at the end of the 14th century, the main visible witness of which is the choir, and a second gothic countryside at the end of the 15th century, of which a large part of the nave date, as well as the north side and the chapel extending it. In the perimeter of the church there is also an annex building with an ossuary crypt, surmounted by a chapel dedicated to Saint Michael, as well as an old Renaissance-style gallery...
