About

The church Saint-André is a parish church located in the historical centre of Angoulême, in the French department of Charente and the diocese of Angoulême. Built from the 12th century, it is one of the oldest churches in the city, with the nearby St Peter's Cathedral. Keeping a collection of paintings from the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, a altarpiece and a baroque pulpit in carved wood, it has been the subject of an inscription as historical monuments since 1951.
