église Saint-Aubin d'Ennery
Saint Aubin Church is a Catholic church located in Ennery, France. It makes the elements and additions of different epochs coexist in an unharmonious way, unlike most other churches with various architectural styles. In this case, Romanesque, primitive Gothic and Renaissance styles are represented; the flamboyant style well widespread in the area lacks on the other hand.
The Renaissance ensemble built between 1565 and 1588 is of great homogeneity, but above all the elegant two-storey Romanesque bell tower of the second quarter of the 12th century can be considered a masterpiece. The large arcades of the nave, from the second half of the 12th century, are a fine example of the primitive Gothic of Île-de-France. The church has been listed as a historic monument since 1911.
