The covered driveway of Dampont was located in the territory of the commune of Us in the department of Val-d'Oise. She was moved to the Tavet-Delacour Museum in Pontoise.
History: The covered aisle was discovered in April 1885 by an archaeologist, Mr.Armand, at the place called Le Tumulus near a wood called The Remission of the Old Cemetery. These place names explicitly indicate that the grave was long known. Alerted by the teacher of the commune, Tavet went there and participated in the search commission appointed by the historical and archaeological society of Pontoise and Vexin. The archaeological furniture found and some long bones were preserved by the owner of the site, Count Raoul de Kersaint, at the Château de Dampont and then given to the museum of Pontoise. Tavet had the driveway dismantled and reconstructed approximately in the garden of the Tavet-Delacour museum in Pontoise in 1896.
