History: From a spiritual point of view, the village of Reyersviller was a branch of the parish of Schorbach until 1802, then of the parish of Bitche until 1863, when it was built in the parish of the Archpriest of Bitche.

The construction of the Gothic-style church dedicated to Saint Bernard, founder of the nearby Sturzelbronn Abbey, dates from 1863, the year the village was built in the parish. During the Second World War, the church was completely destroyed by the bombings from December 1944 to March 1945 and was only rebuilt from 1956 to 1959 under the impulse of Canon Joseph Nullans and on the plans of the Bitch architect Roger Sarraih.

The stained glass windows are the work of Lev Vasilievich Zack, Leon Zack and Irene Zack, of Russian origin. Organs are from Alfred Kern, and were installed in 1961.
