Location: The church is located in the French department of Morbihan, in the commune of Croisty.

History: The Church of Saint John the Baptist has been listed as a historical monument since 28 December 1984. In the 12th century, the Croisty ("House of the Cross" in Breton) belonged to the Order of Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem. According to a sandstone to the right of the western transept, the present church was completed in the sixteenth century. Romanesque vaults discovered in 1998 prove the building's anteriority. Upon entering this church, one immediately notices its blue vault, symbol of the sky in Romanesque art. It includes polychrome wooden sandstones, featuring hunting scenes and the fight of centaurs, a man about to urinate, which were restored in 2001 and 2002. They are classified MH (1939) for 14 scenes and one in MH (1994), other pieces of furniture of this church are also classified.
