église Saint-Lucien d'Avrechy
Saint Lucian Church is a parish Catholic church located in Avrechy, Oise commune. It has relics of its patron saint, Saint Lucien de Beauvais, and of its auxiliary patron saint, Saint Waudru de Mons. The oldest part of the church is the square choir, which was built in the second quarter of the 12th century in late Romanesque style.
It is the most interesting part of the church for the scheduling of the bedside illuminated by a triplet, and especially for its Romanesque warhead vault. It is of considerable size for the time, and its veins are already carefully ground. Capitals are of a wide variety, and remarkable for their motives.
The rest of the church was rebuilt from the end of the 15th century until the middle of the 16th century in the flamboyant Gothic style. The flamboyant parts of the church remain poorly studied, and their history is unknown. They are characterized by low sides almost as high as the nave, and a transept less wide than the nave, whose north crusillon serves as the base of the bell tower.
Some vault keys deserve attention. The most recent part of the church is the Western Renaissance-style portal...
