Location: The church is located in the French department of Aisne, in the commune of La Ferté-Milon. The church is located in the rue de la Chaussée, historically "low town" which developed as the marsh was remedied.

History: The building was classified as historic monuments in 1965. A cemetery once surrounded the church. The structure of the building underwent many changes in the 19th and 20th centuries. In fact, around 1850 the bell tower was struck by lightning, destroying the important arrow forming a bulb (visible on the famous 50 francs note). Instead, a smaller and simpler arrow was built. In the early 1900s, the southern roof of the nave had many disorders. To remedy this work is undertaken by the municipality. However, in order to reduce the costs, an amendment was made to remove the three gables forming chapels on the south side. Instead, a slate roof in one part was built to permanently change the appearance of the church, camouflaging the lower side...
