église Saint-Ouen de Rocques
Saint-Ouen de Rocques Church is a church classified as a historical monument in 1946, located in the commune of Rocques at the crossroads of Lisieux - Fauguernon and Hermival-les-Vaux - Ouilly-le-Vicomte roads. Surrounded by its old cemetery on which lies the two arms of an ancient stone cross, it is firmly encamped on its foundations. A massive square tower of the thirteenth century, surmounted by a small bell tower, covered in slate, of the sixteenth century, forms like the forebody of the nave.
At the time of liberation (22-24 August 1944), part of the church was damaged (glass windows, porches and right back of the right transept). It was restored in 1948-49 by the care of reconstruction and fine arts.
