Saint-Pierre-del-Lec Church is a Catholic church located in the commune of Armissan in the Aude department in the Occitan region of France. Today, only a section of a wall remains, known as "The Wall". It is 10 meters long and over nine meters high for a thickness of 1.40 meters. It remains the old door on which lies the vestiges of a bow, resting on a low arch, on two corbellations consisting of four crows. This vestige has been listed as a historical monument since 1942.
Location: The church is located in the French department of Aude, in the commune of Armissan.
History: It was first a chapel in the ninth century, then replaced by a church in the thirteenth century dedicated to the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul. This church was then common to the two parishes of Armissan and Vinassan. It was destroyed in 1355 by the mercenary bands for the Black Prince.
