Roman amphitheatre
amphithéâtre gallo-romain de Narbonne
The Narbonne amphitheatre is a Roman amphitheatre built in the second century in the city of Narbo Martius, now Narbonne in the French department of Aude. It is built in the eastern part of the ancient city. The very incomplete studies gave him dimensions of 121.60 × 93.20 m for the cellara and 75 × 46.40 m for the arena. Its remains, buried, were listed as historical monuments in 1943 and 1953.
