Church building
église Saint-Symphorien de Fondettes
The initial construction of the Saint-Symphorian church of Fondettes dates back to the 12th century. The present appearance is the result of changes made in the 13th and 15th centuries. The building is composed of a nave of three spans closed to the East by a choir and an apse and has two chapels. The last restoration of the building dates back to 1990 and, among other things, restored the four heads of pinnacles and small sculptures of the west facade, the entire roof, the bell tower, and the rooster that was replaced.
