Location: The church is located in the French department of Ain, in the commune of Saint-Trivier-de-Courtes.

The building was listed as historic monuments in 1982. During the evening of March 1, 2020, a fire led to the collapse of the church bell tower structure. The rest of the building is not damaged. On November 17, 2025, the new belfry bearing two bells named "Germaine" and "Aubin" was installed on the bell tower.
