Parc Astérix

Asterix Park is a tourist complex consisting of a theme park and three hotels, opened on 30 April 1989 and managed by the Alpine company, a subsidiary of the Caisse des dépôts, since 2002. The theme park is dedicated to the universe of the comics of Uderzo and Goscinny, Asterix. It is located in Plailly, Oise, about 30 kilometers from Paris.

It is the third theme park in France by its attendance, behind Disneyland and Disney Adventure World parks in Disneyland Paris. It is one of the theme parks in Europe to have been distinguished by a Thea Award, awarded by the Themed Entertainment Association.
