Église Saint-Leu-et-Saint-Gilles du Tremblay-sur-Mauldre

History: A first church was built there in the 13th century, and was dedicated to Saint Leu and Saint Gilles. In the 17th century, damaged after a storm, the bell tower had to be rebuilt. The building received major transformations, in several stages, in the 19th century. In 1859 the choir was restored, while in 1870 a side chapel was attached to it and its nave enlarged. The old stained glass windows were restored in 1992, and new ones were added in 2005, works by painter and master glassmaker Jacques Loire.
