About

Roquemartine is the name of a former castrum located in the commune of Eyguières (Bouches-du-Rhône). Its ruined castle, called "castellas de Roquemartine" or "Castle of Queen Jeanne", dates from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. He belonged to the family of Albe or Aube.

Below the castle is the Saint-Sauveur church, which was once the parish church of the village of Roquemartine and which was attached to the commune of Eyguières in 1805.
