Bioscope
The Bioscope is a former French leisure park open from 1 June 2006 to 30 September 2012 and located in Ungersheim, Alsace.
Project: Located in Ungersheim near Mulhouse and Ensisheim, Bioscope was a leisure park dedicated to the environment. The initial idea comes from the success of Futuroscope in the early 1990s. Several regions are considering a somewhat similar project. The elected members of the Vienna General Council had chosen for the Futuroscope the idea of an amusement park around new information and cinema technologies, the elected representatives of the Alsace-Lorraine region seek to reiterate a success comparable with the idea of a theme park dedicated to ecological issues, life sciences and health. This park was financed from public funds (Alsace Region) and private funds (CDA Parks, shareholder of several attractions including the Parc Asterix in Île-de-France, and subsidiary, in fact of a public financial institution, the Caisse des dépôts et consignations ).
