Villers-Bettnach Abbey

The abbey of Villers-Bettnach is an ancient Cistercian abbey with some remains and ruins. It is located in Villers-Bettnach, a small village in the commune of Saint-Hubert, Moselle (France). In the heart of a forest massif, the Canner valley is still only at its firstfruits and a small secondary valley dredged by a small stream hanging up there.

It is there, as we go up this stream, that we find the site of the abbey of Villers-Bettnach, on a small hill of this valley. The abbey has been listed as a historic monument since March 28, 1905.
