The Rivau Castle is a seigneurial fortress whose first foundations date back to the 13th century. Located in Touraine in the commune of Lémeré in the French department of Indre-et-Loire, the Rivau is one of the castles of the Loire and has been classified as historical monuments since July 1918 (castle) and August 1999 (commons) as well as an inscription in February 1988 (farm). Rivau combines elements of medieval architecture, Renaissance architecture, and contemporary art. Since 1992, he has belonged to Patricia Laigneau and Éric Laigneau.
