nécropole antique de Tavant
The ancient necropolis of Tavant is a necropolis of the Roman High Empire, located in the commune of Tavant in Indre-et-Loire, France. The part of this necropolis searched in 1997 includes a majority of children's burials, buried in sarcophagus, coffins, or even a dolium for a newborn. Burials range from 40 BC to the third century. It is possible that this necropolis is linked to a secondary agglomeration with a strong proximate presence.
