Location: The castle is located in the territory of the municipality of Laàs, in the department of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Description: The castle dates from the 17th century, it is built on a rectangular plan, it has three levels and is flanked at its north corner of a pavilion housing the old chapel. The front door carries the weapons of Lataulade's family. Besides its outbuildings the castle has an orangery, a small French garden and fountains, as well as a park of 12 hectares, planted with rare essences[which ones?] spreading to the edge of the river Oloron, located below. As early as 1946, Louis and Madeleine Servat installed their collections of art objects, including paintings attributed to artists such as Pierre Paul Rubens, Pieter Brueghel l'Ancien, Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun and Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
