Franco-Brazilian Binational Bridge

The bridge over the Oyapock is a bridge between the city of Saint-Georges in Guyana (France) and the city of Oiapoque in Amapá (Brazil). He crossed the border between Brazil and France on the Oyapock River. Its construction has been completed since August 2011, but it is only inaugurated in March 2017. However, it was planned to be operational by the end of 2014, but there were delays in the development of Brazilian infrastructures (equipment of the border post, recruitment of staff and especially road construction).
