église Saint-Georges
The Saint-Georges Church of Lyon is a Catholic place of worship located in all the Qualified Quarters of Old Lyon. This church depends on the parish of the primatial Saint John of Lyon. It is dedicated to the Christian saint George of Lydda.
The second church, founded by Leidride, gave its name to the surrounding area. The current neo-Gothic building was built by architect Pierre Bossan in 1844-1845.
