site de Cassinomagus
Cassinomagus is the ancient name of an agglomeration with a Gallo-Roman monumental ensemble, established between the first and fourth centuries in the present territory of the commune of Chassenon, in the department of Charente, today in France. This archaeological site is famous for the exceptional state of conservation of its first century thermal baths, known as Chassenon thermal baths or Longeas thermal baths. Constructions made a particularly abundant use of impactite from the Rochechouart-Chassenon astroblem.
