Château de Rochechouart

The Château de Rochechouart is a castle located in New Aquitaine (Haute-Vienne), in the historic Limousin, above the confluence of the Grain and Vayres, originally built in the 12th century and which also includes parts of the 15th century. The dynasty of the Viscounts of Rochechouart has been its owner since the creation of the castle until its sale to the French state in the 19th century. The Château de Rochechouart now houses the Musée d'art contemporain de la Haute-Vienne.
